i saw a tweet about a photo of a cop posing with a thumbs up and a smile holding the body of a dead black boy and if that wasn’t disgusting enough, some of the comments were so wildly racist that i literally zoned out for a minute realizing that people like that still exist in today’s world. sometimes i get my hopes up thinking we’re heading in the right direction but i don’t even know anymore. they may have been a few comments in a sea of comments showing their disgust towards the picture but it’s still terryfing because these aren’t just twitter pages, these are actual people walking the streets, with a voice, maybe with power, we don’t know what damage they do outside of the internet
