the evangelical (??) channel in my country has a really nice tv show about transgender people and their struggles with dating and it’s very cute and informative and in a very effortless way portrays them as the normal people they are but that do deal with issues that are relatively unusual (how do potential partners feel about them being trans, how do they address it etc.). i really love it, especially because it’s on a channel you wouldn’t except it to be on. it’s very sweet to see and doesn’t paint a picture of like ‘oh it’s so horrible to be trans, they’ll never be seen as normal people, they’ll never be happy in dating like cis people’ it’s really positive and it’s multiple trans people helping each other out without cis people getting the loudest voice
