i literally just saw someone say ‘how did they get on twitter to leave these messages? i call bullshit’ you fucking ugly fuck, the world really is that black and white to you, huh? you must be one of those people that says 'they are used to war there, it’s nothing new’ as if to say it doesn’t matter. Aleppo was once a gorgeous, big city. people had mobile phones, some still have. people had twitters accounts and checked facebook in the mornings. the Middle East is not just a giant plot of land of rubble and destroyed homes and people without any possessions. the west is not the only place on earth where people have possessions beyond the bare necessities. people had normal lives that are now being destroyed. they’re using whatever they can to let their voice be heard and twitter is doing that for them
